TRANSWAGGON is at the cutting edge of wagon tracking across the entire transport chain. In collaboration with major ICT partners, we developed the TRANSWAGGON Freight Buddy® GPS solution for devices and on-board sensors connected to our central information system, which:

  • monitors each wagon throughout its journey, locating it continuously and detecting any deviations;

  • positions wagons on digital maps for viewing in the Customer Information System (CIS) customer portal using geo-location technology;

  • detects events to be monitored for every wagon, including shocks, distinguishing between magnitude (g-force) and intensity.

Our app provides information in any operational context and from any location. The system is completely independent of railway undertakings and provides continuity, uniformity and real-time monitoring. Within the freight transport sector, it is a unique ‘always-on’ system. Most of the key live updates are in the form of data that is made available to operators and customers via the CIS portal and the TRANSWAGGON Freight Buddy® app, downloadable from the Apple Store and Google Play.
